It's Our Day!

Happy happy happy Mother's Day to all of you amazingly wonderful women out there.  I certainly had a wonderful day (although the 2 year old decided to wake up at 6 am). Thanks to my new favorite web site, Pinterest I got these:

Tom Binns Protopunk LOVE

and this:

Anthropologie so cute!

The day was really relaxing and loved spending time with my family. Went to brunch, got flowers to plant, went on a looooooong walk around the Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve and then sushi for dinner.

This being my first week on Weight Watchers, I was super good all week and knew I wanted to splurge on those extra points today - and yes, I did and it was worth it. Keep your fingers crossed on Tuesday for my weigh-in.

I'm also MOTIVATED to get back in the saddle and complete my real estate online course.  I have a long way to go but plan on completing at least one chapter a day.

Tomorrow's Monday, the start of a new week - make it the best!

Motivation?

Yep, the title of my first blog post is M O T I V A T I O N - How the hell do you find it and stick to it?

I did join Weight Watchers today.  I know it works and I got some work on my body to do.  Stick with me,  I'll be going slow and steady, since that seems to win the race.  Starting with the obligatory goal of 5%, which for me is 9 lbs.  A friend of mine is doing WW too, and she's super strict, I'm hoping that will rub off on me! With the new Points Plus, most fruits and vegetables are 0 points, I'm seeing lots and lots of salads in my future.

My second push for motivation is getting my real estate license for Illinois.  I'm taking the class online and am having the hardest time concentrating and making the time for studying.  I'm currently a stay at home mom with a two and a half year old so you'd think I had all the time in the world. Yea, not so much, the little princess of the house has some developmental delays so our week is filled with various therapist appointments (that will be another blog post...). Anyhow, back to studying. How do you find it and more importantly, how do you roll with it?

My main motivator for completing the RE course is to put our house on the market, you'd think I'd be done with everything by now.  I am hoping and planning on my old college adage of the more busy you are, the more you successfully get completed.
